a passionate man whose heart is in the right place.
In the lobby of the Fairmont Pacific Rim, we turn on our iPhone sound recorder.
Sitting in front of us is David Nickel. He has just turned 50, and he is more
conscious of life than ever before. David knows what he wants and, above all,
why he wants it. He is a successful businessman, a thinker and a doer, and a
voracious bon vivant. Talking to him is a real pleasure. He is a great conversa-
tionalist and to every question we ask him, he has an extensive answer to give.
That is often the case with passionate people. And that David is passionate, is
the least you can say about him.
